The personal injury, criminal charges and DUI stop case checks on this site give you a general estimate based on the details you enter and common patterns in similar cases. They do not review your actual case, your documents or your evidence, and they leave out facts that only come out once an attorney looks at your situation. A case check result is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of any outcome, settlement, charge reduction, or result of any kind.

No advice. Nothing on this site, including the case checks, the courses, the community, or the intake questions, is legal, financial, tax or medical advice. Speak with a licensed attorney, or the right licensed professional for your situation, before acting on anything you read or calculate here.

Real outcomes come from your case. The actual outcome of your case, including any settlement, plea, charge, penalty, or court decision, is controlled by the courts, insurers, opposing parties, and the licensed attorney handling your matter, not by anything shown or calculated on this website.

Membership and community. Membership is free, and it is meant to be one account per person. Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account if you share it. Community posts and replies should be honest and respectful, and should not include legal advice for another member's specific situation. We can remove content or an account that breaks these terms.

Use of the site. Do not misuse this site, submit false information, or attempt to disrupt, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to it or to other members' accounts.

Liability. This site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, TheLegal.Team is not liable for any outcome of your legal matter or for decisions made based on information from this site.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the state where TheLegal.Team is legally organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
